Located on highly desirable Lake Avenue, and just a stone’s throw from the shops and restaurants located at the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor  – the Snug Harbor has one of the best locations in town! Just down the street is one of Santa Cruz's most popular beaches, dog-friendly and lifeguarded Twin Lakes Beach, where you can reserve a fire-pit at night to stoke up a roaring bonfire, play some volleyball, or just relax at one of the outdoor tables on the sand of the seaside cafes and restaurants nearby. Just steps away from Snug Harbor, you may choose to rent a kayak or paddleboard at the Kayak Connection, or stop in for dinner at the Johnny’s Harborside Restaurant. After the Harbor activities wind down for the day, you’ll appreciate how quiet this neighborhood is at night, as you relax and enjoy the comfortable amenities within the Snug Harbor.

The Snug Harbor is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home that has recently undergone a complete remodel with emphasis placed on efficient and thoughtful design and offers nearly unobstructed views of the boats drifting in and out of the Yacht Harbor. The interior is bright, clean and cheerful with skylights positioned throughout, and lots of windows offering full frontal views of the Harbor. A large dining table with cozy breakfast nook will accommodate up to 6 persons comfortably, and the cozy living room area is appointed with casual seating for viewing the large flat panel HD TV or listening to music while enjoying the warmth of the fire. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing a home cooked meal and the enclosed courtyard with covered patio seating is a great place to relax, dine and BBQ. The two bedrooms open up to the sunny courtyard featuring a tropical outdoor shower with warm running water, and the extra-large backyard is fully enclosing. Additionally there is a southwest facing patio seating that has been neatly landscaped with comfortable lounge seating while offering wonderful sunset views of the Harbor.

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and the Santa Cruz Wharf are an easy 15 minute walk from Snug Harbor, and there is a multitude of fine eating establishments and retail locations within easy walking distance. You may choose to park your car, and not use it again during your entire stay!

The Snug Harbor is 5-10 minutes from downtown Santa Cruz, a pleasant 3 1/2 mile ride to neighboring Capitola, a 45 minute drive to the Monterey Peninsula, and 45 minutes from the greater Bay Area.

OCCUPANCY
Preferred 4-6. Maximum 6.  Off street parking for 2 cars.  Additional day parking may be purchased at Twin Lakes Beach for under $10/day during the peak season.

PETS
The family dog is happily considered on a case-by-case basis. An additional pet-deposit may apply.

GENERAL POLICIES
50% rental deposit required at time of booking. Balance due 30 days prior to arrival. 2 night minimum generally required during the off-season, a 4 night minimum generally applies during the peak season. Please inquire about long term rates.
