You can easily stroll down to the beach and catch a game of volleyball in one of the permanent courts that are set up there, or walk over to the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor and rent a kayak for the day. Stop in for dinner at the Crow’s Nest Restaurant, and afterwards – stoke up a bonfire and roast marshmallows in the fire rings provided at the beach. Finally, you’ll appreciate how QUIET it is at night as you doze off to sleep in cozy beds, and wake up feeling refreshed and ready for another full day at the beach! The Sugar Shack is a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom flat, with a beautifully appointed chef’s kitchen and open dining area that spills out on to a lovely patio overlooking the sights and sounds of the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor. An excellent place for preparing a wonderful home-cooked meal, you may wish to purchase fresh seafood directly from a fisherman’s boat at the Santa Cruz Wharf or from one of our outstanding local markets nearby. With a generously spacious and open floor plan, the Shack includes more than 1000 square feet of living space to relax and stretch out in true comfort and style! This is the perfect place to relax with your loved ones, and enjoy the breathtaking sunsets overlooking the Harbor – where you can easily spot sea otters and pelicans and you will feel a part of the flurry of sea life nearby! The Sugar Shack is a pleasant 3 1/2 mile ride to neighboring Capitola, 45 minute drive to the Monterey Peninsula, and just 10 minutes to the famous Pasatiempo Golf Club.
